Week 6 was a great slew of games, and this week we have another bunch of what should be close games. As entertaining as the week should be, it makes it that much tougher to pick. Id like to welcome back Alex Rhoades, who has made his full picks this week. He beat me in the 3 games we differed last week, lets see how it turns out this week. Here are your official week 7 picks:

The Vikigns have shown that they are one of the teams to beat in the NFC. at 6-0 they have hd some very close games, but have shown that they can be dominate against even the best defenses. The Steeler struggled early, especially in the interception category, because of Troy Palomalu. In his first game back, he had it clear that HE was the INT machine, racking up a pick during the Cleveland game. This offense has become pass first and it has been working quite well. This will be a close one, but its only a matter of time that the Vikings Monarch falls, and falls HARD.
Steelers win, 28-24.

This is one of the best games of the week between undefeated Minnesota and super bowl winners Pittsburgh Steelers. Troy Polamaluis back anchoring the Steelers defense, while Brett Favre has played much better than expected this season. This game could go either way, but im sticking with the home team.
Steelers win, 24-21.

The 49ers have been a little inconsistent, but still shows a lot of promise on both sides of the ball. Michael Crabtree is expected to play in this game after a 6 game hold out, and should impact the team at least in the short passing game. They will try to stick to what he knows from college and that should limit his deep threat capability. The Texans have been VERY consistent in the form of "loss-win-loss-win-loss-win" and their offense is really starting to click. Their defense stepped up last week against the Bengals and this should turn out to be a great game. The Texans will break out of this consistency, but that bye week for the 49ers is a big help.
Texas win, 23-17.

The Chargers haven't shown up yet this season. They have a lot of close games and mostly close losses. But they have beaten the teams that they are suppose to. LT Is looking old, to say the least. Darren Sproles should see a good amount of action this week, but i expect the Chargers to really test Tomlinson's ability to run this week. The Chiefs are one of those teams, coming off of a win against the redskins. Their defense looked great and their offense is looking... well.. better I guess. This is a huge game for both teams, especially the Chargers, who are now 4 games back in the AFC West standings.
Chargers win, 28-14.

RHOADES
The Chargers are desperate for a win, while the Chiefs have looked much better than a 1 win team. Chargers RB Ladanian Tomlinsonneeds to get back on track after a very disappointing season for them to win anything this year. The Chiefs will play them hard, especially at home but the Chargers might have a little too much talent for them to handle.
Chargers win, 21-14.

The Packers still have yet to impress a lot of folks, including me. Their preseason hype seems to have fallen somewhat flat. They haven't truly played a teams that has posed a challange and really won't until they play the Vikings again next week. They lose their first matchup against the Vikings by 3 points, but the Vikings really dominated the game. The Browns look miserable as usual. Their only win comes from a game in which their punter placed the Bills within the 5 yard line 4 times, and Derek Anderson completed only 2 passes on 17 attempts. The most pathetic win I have ever seen. The Pack should have no problem wrapping up this "football team"
Packers win, 31-3.

Not much has changed lately between these 2 teams, the Browns are pretty terrible while the Packers are solid but a little overrated. The Packers will use their corners to shut down the Browns passing game, while the Packers offense will tear the defense up.
Packers win, 28-6.

The Colts couldn't be playing much better at the moment, and have proven to be one of, if not, the best teams in the AFC. Every part of their game is shining right now, and coming off of a bye week they should be nice and rested and even harder to stop this week. The Rams have not faired well at all this year thus far. Their running game is something to build upon but they lack in virtually every other aspect of the game right now. I don't expect them to be able to put up the kind of numbers needed to take down this undefeated Colts team. Peyton Manning has never looked better.
Colts win, 34-13.

The Patriots struggled initially but have proven that they are not the team that came out the first two weeks. They showed their dominance by completely demolishing the Titans 59-0 with 5 TDs thrown by Brady in the 2nd quarter alone! That record breaking performance might be topped this week as the head to Tampa Bay to take on the 0-6 Bucs. The Bucs haven't shown much promise at all defensively but seem to be getting a little bit of strength on the offense. They have shown brief bits of scoring ability, but even if hey have the offensive game of their lives, their defense will most likely be dismantled by this Patriots pass attack.
Patriots win, 28-21.
***Interesting Fact*** This game will be played in London, one of two out-of-country games this year (The other is the Jets and Buffalo in Toranto)

RHOADES
The Patriots QB Tom Brady might have 7tds in this game due to the lack of a passing defense that is shown by the Tampa Bay Bucs. The Bucs are the “home team” in this game but expect it to feel more like a Patriots home game in London.
Patriots win, 56-14.

The Bills have been one of the most disappointing teams this season. After acquiring T.O. and revamping most of their offensive staff, they were expected to be quite explosive. However, they have been anything but. They are, however, coming off a huge defensive victory against the rival Jets, which really gave them life in the AFC East divisional race. The Panthers are slowly getting better and are actually on a win streak. After beating the Redskins and Bucs, the Panthers hope to take another winnable game at home against the Bills, but I think the Bills defense will actually prevail here. I don't know why, but i like the Bills in this game. I think they get their second wind and take this one barely.
Bills win, 18-14.

The Bills are a very confusing team, one week they lose to the Browns, who completed 2 passes, and the next week they take the Jets to overtime and beat them. The Panthers are a great running team, but are really struggling with the passing game.
Panthers win, 27-14.

The Jets are struggling. Mark Sanchez is struggling. They have not been able to produce points in the last few games. So how do you fix a struggling team? You let them play the Oakland Raiders (This remedy only works for teams outside of Philadelphia). The Raiders have struggled in nearly every game this season. They haven't shown much light on anything but their defense really. Last year they had arguably the best defensive backs in the league, this year its not so much. The Raiders defense would need to make Sanchez continue to make those costly mistakes, and I just can't seem them pulling that off.
Jets win, 20-17.

The Jets are looking very average after starting out undefeated, while the Raiders just beat a top team in the NFL, the Eagles. Look for the Jets defense to rough up Raiders QB Jamarcus Russell. Don’t expect too much out of Mark Sanchez, whose lack of arm strength will hurt him down the stretch.
Jets win, 14-9.

The Falcons have been playing rather impressively as of late. They beheaded the 49ers 45-10 then took care of the Bears on sunday night as well. The game against the Bears was closer, but not close enough for me to worry about their 4-1 record being legit. The Cowboys are a team that, for me, is still up in the air. Their 2 losses come from the Giants and Broncos, two teams who have proven to be 2 of the best in the league. But their 3 wins come from winless teams. This is the first fair test for the Cowboys and it should prove entertaining. They are coming off their bye week to take on the Falcons, who have only allowed 3 rushing TDs all season. I feel as though the Cowboys could, and should win this game, however I also believe that the Falcons red zone defense will cause too much turmoil for the Cowboys offense to overcome. The last word? Well... The Cowboys are almost in a must win situation. They had a GREAT bye week, and probably will come out in command of this game. It will be SUPER close, and this is a coin flip. With coin flip games, I always take the team at home, or the one who is coming off a bye week. In this case, the Cowboys are both.
Cowboys win, 34-24.

With the Cowboys brutal December schedule this year, this almost seems like a must win for them. Cowboys RB Felix Jones and WR Roy Williams will be back trying to get the win. The Falcons have been awfully good this year, especially with QB Matt Ryan playing great. This game can go either way.
Cowboys win, 28-24.

The Bears have been having some trouble as of late, their defense is hurting without Ulacher but it still is one of the best in the league. Their offense is starting to click and is getting better each and every week. The Bengals had a minor set back last week, but shouldn't be too worried about their status. I will, however, expect the Bengals to struggle against this Bears defense, but more importantly, I think the bears will just straight-up out score them.
Bears win, 29-20.

The Bengals have had bad luck with injuries lately, while the Bears have looked pretty good. Watch for Bears QB Jay Cutler to throw all over the Bengals defense and vice versa with QB Carson Palmer for the Bengals.
Bengals win, 21-17.

The Saints have been flat-out unstoppable this year. They are dominating in every offensive category and have seriously stepped it up on defense as well. They are 5-0 and I won't believe they will lose unless they prove me wrong. I will say this however, I am willing o almost guarentee that the Dolphins will be closer to beating the Saints than the Giants were. Their Wildcat offense should pose a huge threat to the Saints defense. It will be interesting to see how the Saints will defend against it.
Saints win, 38-34.

RHOADES
The New Orleans Saints are probably the best team in the NFC. The Miami Dolphins are also a very good team, but lack good passing defense, which will be picked apart by Drew Brees. This might be a blowout after Brees gets done with the Dolphins.
Saints win, 48-21.

The Cardinals are a very explosive team, or at least they can be. Their offense hits hard when it clicks, but as of late hasn't really struck a chord with the team as of yet. They will need to accomplish a lot of goals in this game, and win most of the one on one battles. They also have the number 1 rush defense in the league right now. But the Giants have the number 1 overall defense and pass defense. I do think that the Giants are worse than their record portrays, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFC. This will be close, but as long as Eli keeps playing strong, the Giants shouldn't have a problem.
Giants win, 28-27.

RHOADES
The New York Giants have only beaten 2 good team this year, after getting destroyed by the New Orleans Saints last week. That’s important because the Cardinals are a good team. If Anquan Boldin plays, the Cardinals will be a tough team to stop.
Cards win, 28-21.

Yes, the Redskins are downright miserable this year. Yes the Eagles have the potential to be a superbowl conteder this year as far as talent. No, the Redskins are not relieving Jim Zorn. And yes, the Eagles DID just lose to the Oakland Raiders, and thats EXACTLY why I'm picking them. Not only are the Eagles the better team, but now they are FURIOUS with rage after last weeks embarassing loss. They will come out on fire, in prime time, and make minced meat of the Washington Redskins
Eagles win, 35-9.

The Eagles will be pissed off from last week after losing to the Oakland Raiders while the Washington Redskins are an absolute mess right now. Watch for the Eagles to run right over the Redskins for an easy victory.
