Now is where the magic is made. This is the true week we begin to see whos's coming out as the top teams in the league. This is the first year in NFL history that 5 teams have been 4-0 which is incredible. Last week there were quite a few upsets and a lot of great games, lets hope it continues this week. Who would have thought that in week 4 of the regular season, that the Cincinnati Bengals were heading into Baltimore with the winner comming out with a 1.5 game lead in the division? This should turn out to be a great game and a real test for the Bengals. If they can even show that they can compete with the Ravens, then they have a decent shot at a playoff run. The one thing that worries me is their kicking game as they haven't really had much success at all in that department. The Ravens' receivers need to step it up as well, cause if they did, they would be 4-0 right now.

The Ravens come into this game very upset about last weeks loss to the Patriots. The Bengals have been a nice surprise at 3-1. This division game can go either way this week, with the key matchup being the Ravens defense vs Cincinnati offense.

Man, i've gotta call this out now. My gut, for some reason is strongly pulling towards the Raiders. But i just do not see how the Raiders could possibly beat the Giants even if the Giants were playing purely their backups. The Raiders are just playing too horrible of a football game to even stand a chance.

Giants QB Eli manning was hurt last week and should be recovered in time for the Raiders. The Raiders still need to rely on their run game, since Jamarcus Russell has been the worst QB in the league this year. The Giants should crush the Raiders but it might be closer than everyone thinks.

The Cowboys have shown excellent defense and a superb running game. Their passing game seems to be lacking confidence and Romo seems to be avoiding making plays out of the pocket (which is what made him the QB of the Dallas Cowboys). They are 2-0 against teams with no wins however, and there is no reason to think that won't continue. They have had an up and down schedule so far, and that should continue.

The Cowboys have been a top 5 underachieving team for a couple of years now, and this season has started off the same way. The Chiefs are terrible on both sides of the ball so this should be an easy game for Dallas, unless they find yet another way to lose.

The Redskins are not playing as well as they should be already. The Washington council is already getting ready to pull the trigger on Jim Zorn and that puts a LOT of pressure on him this week. A loss against the 0-4 Panthers could do everything but put the final nail in his coffin. The Panthers, however, are a much better team than their record. I feel that they will show it at home today and finally come out with a big win, showing everyone that they can be the team from last year... sort of.

The Panthers are a very disappointing 0-3 after losing to Dallas 2 weeks ago, while the Redskins are just awful. The Panthers should be able to run the ball effectively on the Redskins, especially if they run to the outside.

Vikings. Vikings, Vikings, Vikings. They are playing WAY to good right now. Is it possible that they have hit their peak this early in the season? Favre is STILL trying to warm up to all of his recievers, and that conection between him and Berrian seems to be getting better. The Rams have too many problems to even stand a chance here.

The Vikings come in unbeaten and looking sharp with QB Brett Favre running the team. The Rams are the Rams, aka BAD. Peterson should have 100 fantasy points this week against this bad defense.

They are not sure yet whether McNabb will be back for this weeks game. But my personally opinion? give him another week to recover. The Eagles really should be able to beat this team without McNabb, The Bucs have shown some shines of light, but nothing that leads me to believe they can win. If the Redskins can beat the Bucs, so can the Eagles.

The Steelers have struggled at the start of the season, but seem to be coming around rather quickly. Their defense is still struggling but they will be getting Polamula back in the near future and should bring back the old spark of that defense. The Lions showed promise with their rookie QB, but with him out with a dislocated knee cap (ouch!) that won't be good for the rest of their season.

Continuing with the lopsided games this week, the Steelers go into Detriot to battle the Lions. If the Steelers run game is effective like it was last week, they should walk all over the Lions. The Steelers pass defense will be tested, however, if Calvin Johnson plays.

This is actually kind of a hard game to pick. On one hand, you have the Browns, who are possibly yhe worst team in all of football. On the other you have the Bills, who SHOULDN'T be a bad team, but have played horribly, and are progressively getting worse. Bottom line is this: the Bills should win this game without a problem. If they lose this game, I have absolutely NO reason to pick them for the rest of the season.

The Bills have been widely inconsistent. This season, they have almost beat the Patriots, then get blown out by the Miami Dolphins. The Browns are still one of the worst teams in he league, especially on the offensive side of the ball. This game will come down to who can be worse.

A lot of people are saying that this is the toughest game this week to predict. I disagree. What facts are you reading that show that the Falcons should even stand a chance in this game? Their away record has been par at best for Matt Ryan, they haven't produced offensively, their defensive production is only somewhat compliment-able because of the teams they have faced. The 49ers have been playing grade-A football and it should be recognized as that.

This will be the first good game of the week. the 49ers still don't have RB Frank Gore, and will try to manage without him. The Falcons have a very explosive offense, but a weak defense. This is a home game for the 49ers so they should be able to pull out a victory.

This, in my opinion, is the toughest game this week to pick. Its not because its 2 great teams going head to head. But its because its the two most inconsistent teams going head to head. Im going to assume here, that both teams play their best on both sides of the ball. If that happens (which is won't) The Cardinals should really come out the victor. But they have not showed me much on either side of the ball against teams this year, except the Jaguars. The Texans will put up a fight, but I think the Cardinals will get a solid win here.

The Cardinals boast one of the NFL's best passing games, while the Texans are average on both sides of the ball. They could be a great offense if Steve Slaton picks up the slack in the running game. The Cardinals should be able to pass all over the Texans and win this game.

The Broncos have been quite a shocker. And their defense is for real. I can't say for sure that the Broncos defense is number 1, but i do feel they can give the Patriots a very hard time defensivly. Offensivly i think it will be a little more difficult. Their offensive line hasn't really been playing up to par and it shows. Their offense can be shut down, but i don't think the Patriots will be able to. Just barely...

The Patriots are back to being an elite team in the league, while the Broncos continue to impress this year. If the Broncos can run effectively they could have a chance, but I'm not picking against the Patriots again.

The Jaguars are probably one of my favorite teams right now. They are playing with a lot of poise, and a lot of power with red revenge gleaming in their eyes. This team will be a hard force to stop in thee coming days, and should make a strong case for a division wildcard team. I feel that they will have no problem dismantling the Seahawks. Expect Garrad to have a spectacular game.

The Colts should beat the Titans pretty hadily on Sunday night. The Colts offense has looked real sharp this season while everything about the Titans have looked bad. Look for QB Peyton Manning to shred the Titans defense up this week.

The Jets play great football. especially defensively. They held the Saints to 10 points offensively, which is an incredible feat. Its hard to say that the Miami Dolphins will put up 14 points defensively against the Jets like the Saints did. And i doubt they can score more than 14 points OFFensively either. Its gonna be a long game Dolphin fans, But if you pull this one off, you'll be revitalized as a playoff contender.
