Week 8 was fun, couple of great upsets. And now there are only 2 undefeated. JUST like i predicted. Well guess what? I'm predicting another undefeated team will go down this week. Read on and find out who! Should be a GREAT week of games. Here are our official picks:
POROPAT
The Bengals have been playing well, but that last time these two teams met, the Ravens silly penalty lost them the game. I do NOT see that happening twice in a row. The Ravens are coming off of a big win and should continue their dominance in the AFC. I expect the Ravens defense to come up big, finally showing its true potential.
Ravens win, 27-17.

The Cardinals looked horrible last week against the Panthers. They are a very inconsistent team and do not have a very easy schedule. They travel to the east to take on the bears, something they haven't been able to do successful as of late. The Bears are in struggle mode as well, and you can almost sense the panic starting, knowing that they are 2.5 games out of the division lead. I love desperate teams, especially ones with Jay Cutler at QB.
Bears win, 27-23.

The Redskins have looked horrible. I know i know, i say it every week. But what else can i say about the Redskins... well i heard a joke the other day, lets try that out. Whats the positive side of losing to the Kansas City Chiefs? People stop saying "hey, you were the team that broke the Lions 23 game losing streak!" *rim shot*. Falcons have lost 2 straight, something they haven't done since Matt Ryan and Mike Smith wore black and red. There is no way they lose 3 in a row, sorry skins fans, its another LONG weekend.

Falcons win, 28-11.

RHOADES
The Falcons looked good last week against unbeaten New Orleans, while the Redskins continue to be one of the worst teams in the league. This should be an easy win for the Falcons, who usually beat up on weaker teams.
Falcons win, 28-13

The Packers, in my opinion, are the most overrated team in the entire NFL right now. So many people picked this team, a team in defensive transition, a team with a losing record last year, a team that hasn't proved anything, to go to the Superbowl. Well... I'm not even CLOSE to impressed as of yet. They are a 4-3 team at BEST, but could easily be worse. The Bucs are still searching for that first win, oddly enough i feel that have a pretty good chance. The Packers ARE overrated, but they aren't so bad that they can't beat the Bucs. Shouldn't be close, but i wouldn't be surprised if it is.
Packers win, 33-22.

This is another blowout waiting to happen. The Packers use shotgun frequently and the Bucs have a hard time with defending the pass. This could be the biggest blowout of the day.
Colts win, 49-10.

The Dolphins, after struggling with an 0-3 start, have really turned it around. they only have 3 wins, but they are ALL in the division, and their loses come from the Colts, Saints, Chargers and Falcons. Keeping in mind that 2 of those teams are undefeated, the other 2 are VERY good, and they really almost beat all of them. The Wildcat is in full swing, and their defense is playing very good. The Patriots can't possibly be a better team offensively at the moment, but their defense still leave me with questions. Yea i know, they blew out the Bucs and Titans... but the giants blew out the Raiders and KC and now they lost 3 straight, so that doesn't mean anything. This should be a great game, and this was the game last year that gave birth to the Wildcat. The Fins won't win unless they release something special... well, get ready for "something special".
Dolphins win, 30-27.

The Chiefs are slowly but surely looking better each week. They just picked up Chris Chambers from waivers, which should be a huge addition to their team, but i highly doubt he will be prepared to play in an extended role this weekend. Their defense has been doing better but has seriously struggled in the past. The Jags didn't have a good week last week, giving the Titans their first win of the season, but thats a team that wasw 13-3 last year, it was only a matter of time before they hit it huge. Jags should have no problem wiping the floor clean with the Chiefs.
Jags win, 24-13.

The Jaguars got roughed up last week by Chris Johnson and the Titans but should be back on track this week. The Chiefs don’t have a running back that can beat them single handedly like Chris Johnson so they should have a chance.
Jaguars win, 17-14.

***UPSET SPECIAL***

POROPAT
This is my official upset special this week. The Texans are on fire. They are one of the best passing teams in the league right now, second in most category to the Colts. However, their pass defense has finally shown up. The Texans have a knack to get ahead on the Colts early, and the Colts have a knack to comeback. The Texans defense hasn't been able to stop the Colts in previous game, but I'm stepping out on a limb here and saying that the Texans will finally make that stop. Should be a great game, i expect the Texans to give the Colts their first loss of the season. Mark my words, Texans are playoff bound this year.
Texans win, 31-27.

Both of these teams have gotten hut by injuries recently. The Colts will be without both starting corners and starting safety Bob Sanders, while the Texans will be without Owen Daniels. The Colts offense will be too much to handle, especially at home.
Colts win, 21-20.

POROPAT
The Panthers surprised everyone by overcoming the Cardinals last weekend. They showed that their brut strength run game can be effective, and the Delhomme still can't complete a game without at least a couple of picks. Thats really the main reason I'm taking the Saints. When you play a high powered offense, you can't afford to GIVE them points, and Darren Sharper will be a ball hog all day in this game. The Panthers will struggle, the Saints will strive.
Saints win, 42-17.

RHOADES
The Saints will not lose a home game this year barring injury to Drew Brees. Brees should be able to pass all over the Panthers defense this week, while racking up huge fantasy numbers.
Saints win, 35-14

POROPAT
The Lions got beat by the winless Rams last week, in what I like to call the Useless Bowl. They didn't look impressive at all, on either side of the ball. The Seahawks Struggled against a rising Cowboys team, but that shouldn't have Seahawks fans worried. Hasselbeck is okay, and should be starting and playing well in this game.
Seahawks win, 28-13.

RHOADES
The Lions proved how they really haven’t made any progress this year when they lost to the Rams at home. The Seahawks should dominate this game through the air, and have a lot of crowd noise to make Lions rookie QB Matthew Stafford uncomfortable.
Seahawks win, 21-7.

POROPAT
The Titans looked... better last week, getting their first win of the season along with the Rams. It seems as tough Vince Young was the right choice, but i don't really think that made a difference. The 49ers are still a strong team, and i do expect them to take over the Cardinals division-leading spot and with the Cardinals playing the bears, its a very real possibility.

49ers win, 20-10.

RHOADES
The Titans are coming off their first win of the season while the 49ers are on a big losing streak. With 49ers RB Frank Gore back and healthy, the 49ers should be able to control the Titans and get the victory.
49ers win, 21-17.

The Chargers have been a flickering light all season. They have the potential to be a great team, especially when lead by Phillip Rivers. Their explosive potential has posed threats to the teams they have faced, but most seem to overcome that. I see them as the Saints of last year. The Giants have been severely struggling. This game is a MUST win for them, if they lose it could cause some serious problems. Their play has been, less than beautiful. And their stats show it. Their 5 wins come from KC, Oakland, Washington, Tampa and a toss-up game at Dallas, which isn't very impressive. When faced with a talented team, the Giants seem to fall flat. We'll see if they can finally get the ship righted this weekend.
Chargers win, 28-13.

RHOADES
The Giants are not good against good teams, but great against terrible teams. The Chargers are a good team so watch for them to give the Giants their 4th straight loss. Eli Manning will cost the Giants the game.
Chargers win, 28-17.

POROPAT
The Cowboys have been explosive as of late. They are playing better than they have been in the last 2 years in my opinion. They look strong, but there are holes. Their defense is playing strong, but they still let up that occasional big play, and are easily the most penalized defense in the league. In fact, they are the most penalized TEAM in the league right now. Their offense has been clicking but has slowly becoming one dimensional. They started off being able to run but not pass. Now they can pass, but are struggling with the run. Their number 1 receiver, Miles Austin, can only be so great before getting double teams every game, and Roy Williams just can NOT step up. Romo is playing great, and will continue to play great. The Eagles looked great against the Giants but down-right miserable against the Redskins so i can't tell you what team will show up. But, i know its always tough for Dallas to play in Philly, and with that crowd and those penalties, its only a matter of time before they can't overcome that.

Eagles win, 32-28.

RHOADES
Both of these teams have looked extremely impressive the last few weeks. The Emergence of both teams WR’s (Dallas’s Miles Austin and Philadelphia’s Desean Jackson) will really make this game interesting. Whichever team makes the fewest mistakes will win this game.
Cardinals win, 38-34.

The Steelers are a different team with Troy Palomalu in the lineup, and it should shine this week against the Broncos. The Ravens pummeled the Broncos, much like i anticipated, and i fear that the Broncos will be on their way to a 2 game losing streak. Denver's only advantage in this game is that Holmes and Clark both have a blood disorder that makes it very difficult for them to play in high altitude. Holmes isn't listed on the injury list, but Clark is listed as questionable.
Steelers win, 26-12.

This is another great night game. The Broncos got crushed last week vs the Ravens and the same might happen this week against the Steelers. The Broncos defense needs to play lights out in order to win.
Steelers win, 28-21.
