Lot of lopsided games this week. There are a couple of interesting games. The Chargers and the Broncos face off for first place in the AFC West after a 3 1/2 game lead for the Broncos. The Pats and the Jets face off again in a big AFC East matchup. The Eagles and Bears face off in a matchup of two teams with some interesting problems. Overall me and Alex piked generally the same way. Oddly enough, probably the most competitive game of the day is the one we disagree on. The Lions vs the Browns. Here are your official picks:
POROPAT
The Dolphins will be playing the Panthers without their leading scorer, Ronnie Brown, who suffered an injury last week against the Bucs. It will be a very tough game without him, even with Jonathan Stewart probable. The Panthers have really turned it around, Delhomme is still throwing his picks, most of the time, but the running game has really gotten on track the last few weeks.
Panthers win, 31-27.

Ronnie Brown is out for the season, which is a huge blow to the Dolphins and their wildcat Formation, while the Panthers have been playing good recently and look to continue against the Dolphins. If Ronnie Brown was playing I'd say the Dolphins but he is such a big part of that offense.
Panthers win, 21-17

Indianapolis is playing incredibly. They basically did get beat by the Patriots, but the Patriots gave them opportunities to win, and the Colts made the most of those opportunities, and thats what great teams do. The Ravens are still looking to get on track, and haven't produced well enough to be able to accomplish that. This will be a tough game for both teams, but for some really unknown reason... i'm feeling the Ravens this week. Should be a great and close game. It just always seems that the undefeated teams get knocked off by a team around .500 or lower.
Ravens win, 28-27.

The Colts are coming off a strong win against the New England Patriots, and the controversial 4thand 2 call. The Ravens looked average against a terrible Cleveland team and only scored in the 3rdquarter, with 1 td being on defense. The Colts should be able to pass on the Ravens defense and should come out with their 10th win.
Colts win, 28-17.

POROPAT
The Redskins got a huge win against the Denver Broncos last week, injuring Kyle Orton in the process. The fans should be a little happier, but its not easy living in Washington D.C. these days. The Cowboys are coming off of a dissapointing loss, and potential shutout against the Packers. They did come out with something positive towards the end, but still should be ashamed of that whooping. I expect them to bounce back against the struggling Redskins at home in big game for the Boys.
Cowboys win, 29-17.

RHOADES
The Cowboys looked pretty bad on offense last week against Green Bay, but their defense did play good. The Redskins always play the Cowboys tough and will try to spoil their season this week. Clinton Portis has been ruled out of this game, which is a blow to the Redskins offense.
Cowboys win, 28-17

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome... to the Toilet Bowl. The Browns look a little worse each and every week on offense. Their defense REALLY stepped it up against the Ravens last week. The Lions haven't won a game since they played the Redskins in week 3. The Browns have much more positive for them right now... gonna be a close and ugly game, but the Browns win on defense.

Browns win, 12-10.

This is the worst game of the week by far. Both these teams struggle in every way, especially on offense, but with a healthy Calvin Johnson, the Lions have more talent. The Browns looked awful against the Ravens on Monday night and will hopefully score against the Lions
Lions win, 3-2.

The 49ers played ina pick fast last week on thursday night football. They are coming off 10 day rest, but thats hardly a factor at this point. The 49ers are sort of still in this, but they don't look very pretty right now, even their defense isn't looking the best it has been all year. The Packers looked great against the Cowboys last year, as weird of a game as that was, the Packers came out with a strong, physical and important win. They are a team to be messing with, and should take this game easy.
Packers win, 31-20.

RHOADES
Green Bay had a huge game vs Dallas last week, shutting down their offense, they should be able to do the same against the 49ers. The 49ers need to utilize Frank Gore and Vernon Davis if they want any chance to win this one.
Packers win, 28-10.

The Bills are continuing to struggle, and they are sincerley proving that Trent Edwards is NOT the aswer to this team. With T.O. and Reed yelling at te coaches on the sidelines, this can only get worse. The Jags come into this game hot off a big win in the Meadowlands. They have one of the most prolific run games in the league at the moment, and now face a team who let up almost 2 and half football fields worth of yards to Chris Johnson last week. (almost 250 yards, for those of you who are mathematically challenged). Start MJD in your fantasy leagues, BIG game for him.
Jags win, 31-18.

The Bills fired their head coach Dick Juaron this week and will most likely struggle this week against the Jaguars. The Jags beat the struggling Jets last week and will look to do the same against the Bills.
Jags win, 21-10.

I really want to say that the Steelers defense will dominate this game. But without Troy Palumalo in the lineup, their defense has been pitiful. That doesn't mean they lose of course. The Chiefs don't exactly have a great defense at the moment either. The Steelers should really be able to dominate this game, at least on offense, and hold the chiefs to a 17 point game at best. But the Steelers better hope that Troy comes back soon, cause the schedule doesn't get any easier.
Steelers win, 28-17.

RHOADES
The Steelers are coming off a tough loss against the Bengals in which their offense didn’t score a touchdown. The Chiefs went into Oakland and beat the Raiders by 6 points, which traditionally is a hard place to win. The Steelers will be too much to handle for the Chiefs but it might not be a very lopsided score.
Colts win, 24-17.

The Seahawks are struggling. The game last week against the Cardinals all but sealed their chances on a division championship this year. The Vikings are looking rather unstoppable, and should prove incredibly dificult to play against, especially with Adrian Peterson on the loose.
Vikings win, 31-20.
___________________________
RHOADES
The Vikings struggled early against the Lions last week, while the Seahawks struggled against the Cardinals offense. Look for the Vikings to run Peterson early and often against the Seahawks and their below average defense.
Vikings win, 21-14.

The Falcons have struggled greatly as of late. They haven't really played well since losing to Dallas back in week 6. The Giants are on a 4-game losing streak, but are going to do everything they can to get out of this funk. They are coming off the bye week, and Coughlin has a pretty good record with the giants after the bye. Add that factor to the Falcons playing WITHOUT Michael Turner, recipe for a win for the Giants, and the desperately need it.
Giants win, 21-20.
**** Intersting Fact:****
No team has ever won the Superbowl after losing 4-straight games during the regular season

RHOADES
This is a must win for both teams. Whoever losses goes to 5-5 in a crowded NFC wildcard chase. The Giants are coming off a bye after losing 4 games in a row while the Falcons just lost to the Panthers. Michael Turner isn’t expected to play, which is a huge blow to the Falcons offense, which should help the Giants win.
Giants win, 21-17.

POROPAT
The Saints now have this HUGE target on their backs, and the Bucs are looking to knock it right off them. The Saints almost fell to the Rams last week, which would have been pretty devastating, and now face a hot Bucs team. This really could be an upset, but i can't possibly bring myself to pick against the NFCs best team in what seems like forever.
Saints win, 24-22.
___________________________
RHOADES
The Saints should win by a large margin against the Bucs, even though the Bucs have impressed with Josh Freeman at QB. The Saints are too powerful of a team to stop right now, even for the suddenly hot Bucs.
Saints win, 34-17.

POROPAT
The Cardinals are hot, ESPECIALLY on the road. They are 4-0 on the road and dominante at that. They should continue that streak against the Rams this week. Expect an air show in St. Louis, even after the Rams almost delivered the first loss to New Orleans.
Cardinals win, 31-13.

RHOADES
Cardinals QB Kurt Warner returns to where his career started and plays Marc Bulger, the QB who replaced him. That bad move by the Rams has helped make the Cardinals relevant and set the Rams in a downward spiral. The Cardinals should embarrass the Rams in their own dome.
Cardinals win, 35-13.

This is a classic scenario as of late. The Broncos led early in the season, but have struggled as of late. The Chargers are hot now, but were struggling badly at the start. The hot team is almost always the winner of this battle. Not to mention that Kyle Orton might not even be playing this week, after a pathetic lose to the Washington Redskins. This should be a fun one to watch, but its an easy one to call in my opinion.
Chargers win, 31-17.

RHOADES
The Chargers have looked good the last few weeks with wins over the Eagles and Giants, while the Broncos have lost 3 in a row and lost Kyle Orton last week. Last week could be the breakthrough game Ladanian Tomlison has been looking for, which will hopefully continue throughout the year.
Chargers win, 21-17.

The Jets are in some serious trouble. They have gone 1-4 since starting off 3-0 this season. They have played some tough teams, but none, in my opinion, are tougher than the Patriots who GAVE the game away to the Indianapolis Colts this past sunday. The Pats are PISSED, and don't usually lose two games in a row. Sorry Jets, but when your "franchise" QB throws ball to defensive players that are standing 2 feet in front of him, your not going to get off this bad streak.
Patriots win, 38-14.

RHOADES
The Patriots are coming off a huge loss to the Indianapolis Colts. They went for it on 4th and 2 from their own 28 yard line instead of punting the ball and making the Colts beat them. The Jets have looked bad in the last few weeks, especially with Mark Sanchez struggling so badly.
Patriots win, 42-17

The Bengals are the most underrated team in football. I don't believe im going to pick against them the rest of the season. The Raiders, as i presumed, couldn't even beat the Chiefs for a second time this year. Their troubles are FAR beyond the play of QB Jamarcus Russell. In all honesty, they ned to start cleaning house, starting from the top... Al Davis. Then again, at least HE didn't flick off his fans and get fined $250,000 like Bud Adams did.
Bengals win, 31-12.

RHOADES
The Bengals have looked great this season, and will continue against the terrible Raiders. The Bengals look to pull away from the Steelers and Ravens in the AFC North. The Raiders finally benched the worst QB ever, Jamarcus Russell, which still wont help them at all.
Bengals win, 21-10.

NBC is calling this the "Uh-oh Bowl". Yea, I don't get it either. Anyway, the Bears, who Jay Cutler destroyed last week, are about to get a visit from a team in desperate need of a good win. Jay Cutler hd 5 picks against a mediocre pass defense, and is now going to play one of the most blitz-frenzied defenses in the league. Its not getting any easier for Jay Cutler this week. Him and Hester need to get on the same page, and fast.
Eagles win, 24-14.

RHOADES
The Eagles have lost their last 2 against the Cowboys and Chargers while the Bears have looked terrible with Jay Cutler this season. Cutler leads the league in interceptions with 17, which is just pathetic. The Eagles will pick him off a few times and get back to winning this week.
Eagles win, 28-17.

POROPAT
The Titans have won 3 straight with vince young, who is actually having a great season. Chris Johnson is a defensive NIGHTMARE and will certainly be the main point that the Texans defense will be focusing on. However, the Texans high-flyig offense should make mince meat of this Titan defense, handing Vince Young his first loss of the season. Hopefully he is more mentally prepared for this loss.
Texans win, 31-27.
___________________________
RHOADES
The Titans are on a 3 game winning streak with Vince Young at QB, and Chris Johnson, who is the leading rusher and could have a shot at 2,000 yards. The Texans are a good team but need to win this game if they want to have a chance at the wildcard.
Texans win, 21-17.
