NFL 2010 season, Week 5 Picks and Predictions

Im sorry everyone, i have been very busy as of late and i guess i forgot to officially publish this. Anyway, these are our week 4 picks.

**Upset Special**

POROPAT

The Jags are still an underated team in my opinion. They haven't yet got things going, and when they do it will be fun to watch. Both of these teams have played a very tough schedule thus far, especially the Bills. And even though the Bills are 0-4, they have shown some sheds of light in their game, especially recently. Last week i didn't take an upset special, but it was going to be Browns over Bengals, which would have been right. I've decided i am going to do an upset special EVERY week, so I'm taking this as my upset special.

Bills win, 31-20.

The Jags will beat the Bills a week after a very impressive win against Indy. 59 yard kicks are not easy to make.

POROPAT

The Ravens might be the best team in football right now. That certainly is the opinion of most power ranings right now. Their passing game is where it needs to be, and their defense should be able to shut down the Broncos offense.

Ravens win, 24-17.

The Ravens will cool off Kyle Orton with their stingy defense and make the Broncos try to run, which they cant do .

The Giants are coming off what seemed to be a "default" win last week. Their defense won the game for sure, but they had some help from the Old Jay Cutler. Their offense looked miserable as usual. Should be a one-sided game, but thats what i said about the Bears game too.

Texans win, 31-17.

The Giants looked great defensively last week against the Bears, and now have to face the high powered Texans. If Andre Johnson plays it will be a rout, but if he doesn't, the Giants could steal one

The 

Cutler is on the sidelines, and the Bears looked pretty terrible last sunday. The Panthers gave it their all last week, but they have to play offense against a very good Bears defense. Im taking the Bears here, just because of their defense

This game is going to be hard to watch with Cutler on the sidelines. Whoever scores 3 points first wins.

The Packers have been unimpressive as of late. But the Redskins have looked even worse. Should be an interesting game, but I'm going to take the Packers in this game just because of the lack of offense on the Skins side.

Packers win, 31-24.

The Packers have still not impressed me this year and are now piling up their Injured Reserve list. They cant lose many more players if they want to stay relevant in the playoffs

The Colts are 0-2 in the division, which is a shocker. Not nearly as shocking as the Chiefs being the ONLY undefeated team left in week 4! This makes this game a key matchup this week. However, the Chiefs opponents, although perceived as good, have been spiraling this season thus far. Even though the Colts may fall into that category as well, I can't pick against the Colts in this game at home.

Colts win, 21-17.

The Colts will win based on their offensive firepower. I have gone 0-3 picking against the Chiefs and if they win this game, i'm picking them to win all their games

This was going to be my upset special, but I changed my mind rather late. The Bengals need this game, and even though I believe they are the most overrated team in the NFL this season, they should be able to handle the Bucs.

Bengals win, 27-10.

The Bengals will be able to edge out the Bucs with the "TOchocinco" combination. It will be close though

I guess this is sort of my upset special, at least based on record. The Lions have looked lik a better team this season, and with their offense clicking it could spell trouble for the Rams. I don't want to take anything away from the most impressive rookie QB in a while, Bradford, but the support of his team just is not there yet.

Lions win, 20-9.

The Lions get their first win of the season even though Bradford looks like the real deal at Quarterback.

This is another game i was considering for my upset pick. Dispite what most say, it should be a very close matchup. The Browns can put numbers on the board, especially with the run game and the Falcons run defense has sputtered. However, i believe the Falcons can put most points on the board through the air, than the Browns can on the ground.

Falcons win, 24-17.

The Falcons will beat the Browns easily in their house. The Falcons have too much firepower to lose to a mediocre team.

The Cardinals are starting another FA at quarterback. This is getting ugly. Btw, beware of Alex's lame pun.

Saints win, 31-10.

The Saints should Brees by the Cardinals, get it? The Saints will run the score up in this game

I want to say the Cowboys are overrated, and they might be right now only because they can't seem to come together as a team. When they do, they will be an elite team. Until then its hard to say. However, their defense have been stout this year and the Titans have been settling for FGs often this year. Thats why I'm giving the Cowboys the edge in this game.

Cowboys win, 21-19.

The Cowboys will pick up where they left off 2 weeks ago, beating up an AFC team. Dallas will make Vince Young beat them, which wont happen.

The Chargers need to get back on track, and it will be VERY hard NOT to do that against the Raiders. Welcome to the over .500 club Chargers.

The Eagles will be playing with Kolb this week. The 49ers will be playing with... well... the 49ers, and thats why this game will be one of the most epic games this week: because they are both horrible. Let me flip a coin here... Heads, thats the Niners.

The battle of the worst QB's? Kolb is way worse than I thought he was, and Alex Smith isnt much better. Im going upset.

What an intriguing matchup with Randy Moss back on the Vikings. It's uncertain if Revis will play for the Jets. However, the Jets should be able to beat the Vikings either way. I can't wait for this game though, should be exciting.

The Randy Moss trade was very unexpected, but gives the Vikings a big play threat. It wont be enough however to beat the Jets.
