The Jets are bouncing back after a bunch of tough losses and Sanchez has really begun to look like a rookie again. Their defense has toughened up though. The Bills are "a new team" according to amerature sports analyst Kevin Acevedo, and I think hes right. With the most interceptions in the league, Sanchez is bound to throw at least 3, enough for the new explosive Bills offense to win this one.

The Jets and Bills both come into this game with big wins, but neither are a threat for the AFC playoffs. The Bills might have spoiled the Dolphins chances for the postseason by beating them badly in the 4th quarter, while the Jets beat up on Jake Delhomme and the Panthers offense. The Bills are wildly inconsistent, which makes me think the Jets will take it to them on Thursday night.

The Eagles are an up and down team, seemingly a guessing game whenever i have to pick a game with the Eagles. However, despite the Falcons promising potential for the playoffs, without Michael Turner and Matt Ryan, they don't stand a chance.

The Falcons come into this game really banged up. They will definitely will be without QB Matt Ryan and most likely RB Michael Turner. The Eagles will likely be without their star WR Jackson, but its not as bad as losing your QB. The Eagles will win this game by default.

The Bucs are trying to play upset to the Panthers extremelly slim playoff hopes. Although not yet eliminated, the Panthers probably won't make the playoffs, but the Bucs are playing for their jobs, and so might may of the Panthers. Should be an interesting game to watch.

The Rams have one of the best rushing offenses in the league, but fail to showcase that since everyone stacks the box against them and makes them pass. The Bears are struggling heavily and will need help to make the playoffs. They can start the streak to increase their playoff chances this week against an easy opponent.

The Titans are on FIRE, winning 5 in a row after losing their first 6. Their secret? how about averaging over 130 yards rushing per game... with one running back. The Colts have had trouble starting in games in the last 5 weeks, having to come from behind from some rather large deficits. If the Titans get that head start, it could be a long game with a LOT of rushing yards for Chris Johnson. Im taking a risk here, and picking the Titans.

Ever since the Titans put Vince Young in at QB they have won every game, 5 in a row, after losing their first 6 with Kerry Collins at QB. The Colts will look to cool them down by stopping the run and making Vince Young beat them.

The Pats got crushed last week against the Saints. Their are miserably on the road, only 1-4 this season, with the 1 win being in London against the Bucs. Traditionally the Pats don't play well in New England, and both teams are coming off of bitter losses. Could be a close game, but i can't bring myself to pick for the Pats to lose 2 in a row, something they haven't done since 2006.

The Texans have struggled as of late, but its not because of their offensive production. Their defense looks miserable, much like last year, and should continue to run into these problems. The Jags have a chance to make a playoff run, and have an easy schedule ahead of them, this game is a must win for them though.

The Steelers HAve some serious injury concerns for the potential playoffs. They will be missing Troy Polamulo again this week, and possibly Ben Rothlesbuerger. The Raiders defense has stiffened, but so has their offensive production. This might be over after the 2nd quarter.

With or without Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers will win this game. QB Dennis Dixon proved he could be a capable backup/starter in the league while almost beating the Ravens in Baltimore. The Raiders are coming off a beat down, as the Cowboys made them look foolish on Thanksgiving.

The Chargers will look like a Super Bowl caliber team this week, as they will face the hapless Browns. The Browns do not score points on offense, and don't stop anyone on defense, which is a great recipe for disaster.

The Cowboys are coming off of a confident-booster on thanksgiving and come into a very injured Giants team. The Cowboys seemingly outplayed the Giants in their first meeting, but an abundance of turnovers gave the Giants enough opportunities to take the first win at the New Stadium in Dallas. The Cowboys are normally not very good in december, but Romo is 1-0 in New York in december. Plus both teams have changed dramatically since their first meeting. Throw away the records for this one, as usual.

The Cowboys are still pissed about the week 2 opener at the new Cowboys Stadium, and will bring their new look, vastly improved defense with them. If they dont give up 24 points off turnovers this time, this game will be a blowout. The Giants also did not have to worry about Miles Austin the first time around.The Giants are much more injured then they were in week 2, and need to have Eli Manning making good, smart passes if they want any chance to win

The 49ers are holding on to a slim chance of making the playoffs and stand a good chance to take a large step forward in that race. The Seahawks are struggling, and its showing that Coach Mora is worse WITH receivers, than Holmgren was WITHOUT them. Might be a tough offseason for the Seahawks, and another tough sunday.

The Seahawks are always a dangerous team at home, and will hope to beat a division rival. The 49ers have been a bad team after starting off so promisingly, and have lost a lot of games lately.

The Vikings are the most well-rounded team in the NFL right now, and look to e unstoppable. Their only lose came from the Steelers, an AFC team, so if they win out and the Saints lose just 1 game, the Vikings will take the number 1 seed. Every game is a must win from here, and this one is one of the tougher ones. Most believe that high flying offensives is the only way to beat the Vikings. This may be true, but when your playing the best running back in the league, you need to be able to stop the run as well. The Cardinals have that ability, so it should play out to be a hell-of-a-game.

The Vikings have been extremely strong this season with Brett Favre doing the passing and Adrian Peterson doing the running. The Cardinals might be without QB Kurt Warner, which would almost guarantee a loss.

The Ravens are looking to make a big move in their AFC playoff race, and they couldn't have a tougher game to start with. The Packers are playing great, especially at home, and could easily win this game if the weather plays well. They are hot right now, and its very hard to find a weakness on that team right now.
